The Mary Kay Foundation receives donation from Nationwide® Private Client and Bell Insurance
SCOTTSDALE, Arizona – The Mary Kay Foundation has received a $5,000 Partners in Giving donation from Nationwide® Private Client in honor of Bell Insurance. The money will help fund the Foundation's efforts to fight cancers that affect women and eradicate violence against women.
Private Client is Nationwide's personal lines carrier focused on the affluent market. Its appointed independent agents are offered an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others with charitable donations in their local communities through the Partners in Giving program.
"People care deeply about organizations with a social mission. They are more likely to support businesses that share their commitment to making a difference," says Molly Rondeau, distribution, sales, and marketing executive. "Partners in Giving enables Private Client agents to direct donations to one of the charitable organizations we support, with an emphasis on strengthening our communities and improving people’s lives."
"We are honored to participate in the Partners in Giving program, as our company has a long tradition of supporting local charities," says Vince Bell, president, Bell Insurance. "We selected the Mary Kay Foundation because we appreciate the work they do in the community, especially in fighting cancers that affect women and ending violence against women. Our organization is comprised of about 75 percent women so the opportunity to champion their betterment everywhere resonates with us deeply.”
"We appreciate Nationwide Private Client and Bell Insurance for their commitment to funding worthwhile causes," says Jennifer Cook, foundation and museum director, The Mary Kay Foundation. "This generous donation will help enrich women’s lives through our domestic violence shelter and cancer research grants."
To date, $65,000 has been donated in Arizona, California, Georgia, Illinois, Texas, and Washington through the Private Client Partners in Giving program. Nationwide Private Client has committed an additional $365,000 in Partners in Giving charitable donations for distribution throughout 2015 and 2016.
